Landmark

I personally associate Landmark with integrity and communication training.
Their brochure says that “its unique breakthrough ideas and methodologies result in extraordinary achievements that are outside of what’s predictable” and that ”in mastering these techniques you gain a new freedom to be at ease and the power to be effective in the areas that matter most to you: the quality of your relationships, the joy and confidence with which you live your life, your personal productivity and your experience of the difference you make.”

Little did I know that when I embarked on this journey of transformative learning, that my involvement with Landmark Education would be one of the milestones in my life!

When I did the Landmark Forum in 2001, I not only gained an ever growing awareness of the basic structures in which I know, think, and act, but also started to discover my blind spots and limiting beliefs which later attracted me to become a PSYCH-K® Facilitator.

The results of my Landmark Forum were so amazing that I drove 1100 km weekly (from Berlin to Frankfurt and back) for 10 weeks in a row to finish the next course. Shortly after that I participated in the Advanced Course and was asked to come on staff in Frankfurt.

For those who don’t know this… this was an enormous honor as I didn’t quite fulfill the official requirements. (The organization is built on an amazing volunteer program and I had never volunteered before, nor was I an Introduction Leader for the Landmark Forum — which was a basic requirement to be employed.)

Well, what can I say…
They wanted me and I was ready. We found solutions and the rest is history!
I moved within just 2 weeks to Frankfurt and was on staff for 2 years as a Registration Fulfillment Manager, responsible for the psycho-physical well-being of all our participants.

Being on staff was the most challenging, crazy, fun, effective and incredible training in integrity and communication that I could have ever imagined.
It did boost my presentation skills and my love to work with people and laid the foundation for the rest of my life.

With the distance of 20 years I can say that a lot of the principles and distinctions became second nature. I don’t even have to think about them anymore to put them to work and make them available to my clients.
