EFT™ - Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional freedom technique (EFT™) was developed by Gary Craig in the 1990’s and has its roots in the so-called Thought Field Therapy that was patented by Dr. Roger Callahan 20 years earlier.

EFT™ is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress and is often referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure. Based on Chinese medicine, the stimulated meridian points are thought of as areas of the body where energy flows through.

When these pathways are free the energy can flow easily to maintain your health, while any imbalance can influence disease or sickness.

This amazing tool restores the balance of the body’s energy system and has been used to treat people with stress and anxiety symptoms, to reduce negative emotions, to enhance physical well-being and even to deal with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and many other issues as well.

I used EFT™ a lot in the 4 years before I started to work with PSYCH-K in 2008 and recently came back to it, as it is such a beautiful tool that gives people some autonomy to work on their issues, plus it is easy to use in groups too.

The Unseen Therapist is an evolution and a very different approach, which I have been using for years instinctively. There is no tapping involved, but there is a direct connection made to your inner healer, that part of your innate essence, this incredible intelligence that has access to so many resources. It doesn’t make a difference what you call that part, Love, God, Source, Peace, Jesus, Buddha, Holy Spirit, Inner Wisdom….

What counts is the peaceful presence of a higher force that we are constantly connected to without realizing it and that we can use to improve our lives
